Alcune opere

Per vari anni si è dedicato all’arte sacra, cimentandosi anche nella grande monumentalità; come l’immagine della Vergine di Fiumefreddo in Sicilia.

Ha realizzato grandi e possenti porte di bronzo dedicate a San Filippo Apostolo  presso il Santuario di Santa Maria La Cava ad Aidone (EN),  per la chiesa di San Ferdinando di Puglia,  per le Suore Agostiniane  a Frosinone, e l’ultimo per la Chiesa Madre di Aidone (EN) .

Tra le altre opere, ha scolpito una statua in marmo del profeta Isaia ed ha creato una statua in bronzo di Sant’Eufemia ad Aversa (CE).

A Roma ha realizzato una grande opera sul tema della Via Crucis per le suore Domenicane. A Bagdad e a Beirut ha operato nelle chiese cattoliche con grande suggestione lirica.

Ha altresì realizzato per la chiesa di Sant’Edoardo a Sestriere (TO) la statua della “Vergine delle Nevi” inaugurata il 27 luglio 2001, in ricordo dell’Anno Santo.

Some examples of his accomplishments

For a number of years he concentrated on religious art. During that time,  he produced  great monumental works of art,  such as the statue of the “Vergine di Fiumefreddo” in Sicily.

He also created  large and powerful looking bronze portals:  in honor of Saint Philip the Apostle for the Santuario of Santa Maria La Cava at Aidone (Enna, Italy), for the Church at San Ferdinando di Puglia, for the Convent of the Augustinian Sisters at Frosinone, and, last, a portal for  the Chiesa Madre  at Aidone.

Among other works of art, he also created a marble statue of the prophet Isaiah, as well as a bronze statue of Saint Euphemia, at Aversa.

For the Dominican Sisters in Rome, he produced a series of sculpted plaques illustrating the Via Crucis. His talent can be appreciated also in some Catholic Churches in Bagdad and Beirut.

For the church of Saint Edward in Sestriere (Torino) he created the statue of the “Vergine delle Nevi”, inaugurated in 2001 to commemorate the Holy Year.
